Seasonal Changes on Pets
Winter blues? Summer highs? Fall and spring doldrums? We’ve all experienced some sort of mood shift due to weather changes especially when it comes to extreme temperatures. When the temperature is over 90 degrees out, we feel sluggish, lethargic, and disinclined to do anything active. Similarly, in the extreme cold (below freezing), we wrap up in warm clothes, hunker down, and stay indoors if at all possible. Just like humans are affected by the changes to the weather so are your pets. It may not be as obvious (since they don’t complain about the weather!), but the signs are there...
