Pets are not designed to lounge on an apartment couch all day. They need to run, jump, and play to stay healthy… even if we don’t feel like taking them out because it is cold, raining, or we have other things to do. But, they rely on us for their most basic exercise needs.
Adequate exercise is essential for increasing oxygen, dispelling cellular toxins, increasing blood flow, strengthening muscles, reducing body fat and even stabilizing moods. So, make sure you get out at least 30 minutes a day. Take a run. Stroll through the park. Toss a ball. Set a puppy-play-date. Take a dip in the lake. Hike up a local mountain.
Your pup will thank you.
